TRE
TRE (Tension, Releasing Exercises) are exercises to shake off stored tension or trauma in your body.
How does a TRE session work?
By doing seven simple, standing and one lying exercises that are directly or indirectly connected to the psoas (muscle of the soul), you trigger the original, but dormant mechanism of yourself to discharge. You DO nothing and yet you shake.
These so-called neuro genetic vibrations result in a deep relaxation and calming of your muscles and nervous system, allowing you to let go of emotions and return to your natural, balanced state of being.
With TRE you don't have to talk, your body does. Your body talks. Do not underestimate the intelligence of your body and let it happen.
It is a completely safe and instinctive process that happens automatically. Tension, stress or trauma that has only been in your body for a short time or much longer can flow away, causing (physical, emotional and mental) complaints to decrease or disappear.
After the discharge, it is important to lie down for about ten minutes so that what has been touched has time to be integrated. This phase is essential for the session.
I give TRE workshops (maximum 5 people) and private TRE (or duo) sessions.
For whom?
For people with emotional, mental and physical complaints (such as burnout, excessive brooding, concentration problems, trauma, stress, anxiety and pain).
TRE (Tension, Releasing Exercises) is a technique to reawaken our original (but latent) mechanism of shaking or vibrating. This allows you to release (chronic) tension, stress or trauma.
Effect
Regular TRE gives you more energy, concentration and zest for life, physical complaints decrease or disappear and contact with your body and yourself improves. You also become more and more relaxed and emotionally balanced, which allows you to sleep better and/or gain beautiful insights. And that can influence the choices you make in your life.
Contra indications
