Mindful yoga

Yoga means balance between your body and mind. Mindful yoga is a form of Hatha yoga where the technique of meditation is in the foreground. This means that by performing light Yoga exercises you practice or sharpen your quality of attention. In the body you can notice more than just the movements it makes with all possible and impossible positions. We also have thoughts, there are moods, emotions and all kinds of other inner reactions. When you move calmly and with attention, a whole spectrum of surprising observations unfolds.

For whom?

You may feel restless and inflexible in your body. By performing light yoga exercises with attention, a process of inner slowing will automatically start. Slowing down creates peace and space in which the body tells what is happening at various levels. This can bring both pleasant and unpleasant sensations: the experience of space, joy and flexibility in moving and thinking, in addition to resistance, pain, shame or inner struggle. How you deal with your body and yourself becomes visible.
